Can visitors be Pre-Registered?

Yes. Pre-registration is done by the host and the host invited the guest by sending a 6-digit PIN. The visitor can check-in to the facility using the PIN.

How do a visitor check-in?

Visitors can check-in to the facility either by entering their details in the self-service Kiosk at the lobby or by providing their details to the Receptionist/Security Officer. If they have an invitation PIN shared by the host they can check-in using that PIN. In that case no need to submit all details.

How do people check-out when leaving the building?

Visitors can check out either by entering their name in the self-service Kiosk at the lobby and marking the checkout or by providing their name to the Receptionist/Security Officer. If they have an invitation PIN shared by the host they can checkout using that PIN.

Can visitor photos be captured?

Yes. To enable this feature, go to “Check-in fields” under the settings menu. Check the corresponding “Required” box of “visitor photo” field. If you want to make it as a mandatory field, check the corresponding box marked “mandatory”.

How can I customize the visitor check-in fields?

To customize the visitor check-in fields go to “Check-in fields” under the settings menu.

How to can I manage the list of ‘purpose of visit’?

To manage the purpose of visit, go to “Purpose of visit” under the settings menu. You can add new purpose by clicking the button “Add new purpose of visit” and enter the purpose. Also, you can edit the purpose clicking the corresponding edit button.

How can I customize the Kiosk interface?

To customize the Kiosk interface, go to “Kiosk settings” under the settings menu. Customize as per your requirement.

How to display my company logo in the Kiosk?

To add your company logo to the Kiosk interface, go to “Kiosk settings” under the settings menu. There you have the option to upload your logo. Make sure that you saved the configurations after uploading the logo.

How to sign-out a Kiosk?

To sign out the Kiosk, tap the company logo five-time continuously.

How users are created?

To create users, go to “User management” under the settings menu. Click on “Add new user” button and enter the user details.

What are the type of users?

Dorbuk has 5 types of users.

Administrator: The person who has all the privilege expect entering visitor check-ins and checkouts.
Manager: The person who has all the privilege expect to enter visitor check-ins, checkouts, and Dorbuk settings.
Kiosk: A Kiosk can only mark the visitor check-ins and checkouts.
Receptionist/Security Officer: Who is in charge of the gate or lobby and they can only mark the visitor check-ins and checkouts.
Host: The Host can fill up visitor details and invite them by sending a 6-digit PIN. Also, they can view their recent visitors and invited visitor list.

Host Management

How can I add a host?

To add the host, go to “Manage hosts” under the “Host” menu. Click on the button “Add new host” and enter the host details.

How can I create a login username and password for a host?

Host login user name will be their Email address. To generate and send the password to host Email address, check the box “Send welcome Email containing login credentials” at the time of creating a new host.

Host Notifications

What is the type of notifications can send to the host?

Dorbuk can send Email, Text (SMS) and Mobile App notifications to the host.

Can I disable sending a specific type of notification for a specific host?

Yes, you can. You can configure it either at the time of host creation or by clicking the host “edit” option.

Data & Analytics

Can visitor reports be generated?

Yes. To view the reports, go to the “Report” menu.

Can I export the reports in PDF, Excel, and CSV format?

Yes, you can.

Is your data stored and filed securely?

Yes. All your data with Dorbuk have stored securely at the cloud server.

Plans and Subscription

When does my subscription expire?

Your subscription will expire either when you have used up all the visitor credit or when the validity period is over (whichever happens first).

How to renew my subscription?

Login to your DORBUK account and from the ‘settings’ menu selects ‘subscription’. Clicks on ‘renew the subscription’, choose the plan and renew it using your credit card.

What happens to my data and access when my subscription end?

When the subscription expires, your account will be in a grace period of 30 days. Once the grace period ends, your data and access will be removed at any time.

Will the remaining visitor credit carry forward and added in the next subscription?

No, visitor credit will not carry forward and remaining visitor credit will be discarded by the end of the subscription period.
